Open to graduating U.S. high school seniors (or past program recipients) living in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, or Canada, with a cumulative high school GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, planning to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school. No essay is required; selection weighs academic record, school/community activities and work experience, and financial need equally (33% each). A separate, more selective $60,000 James W. McLamore WHOPPER Award tier (3 winners/year) additionally requires a 3.5+ GPA and US/Canada citizenship.
