Open to any U.S. high school junior enrolled full time, in any of the 50 states or D.C., who intends to enroll immediately after high school graduation in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited non-profit U.S. college (may start at a two-year school and transfer). Requires: minimum 2.0 GPA (FAQ: "all applicants must have and maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale"); demonstrated financial need, defined as adjusted gross family income of $100,000 or lower (FAQ: "an applicant's adjusted gross family income must be $100,000 or lower"); involvement in co-curricular/community-service activities; and "integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity," documented via a required Adversity section and a Support Form completed by an unrelated adult over 21. Home-schooled students may apply (write "Home School" as school name). No SAT/ACT score is required. No application fee (FAQ: "No, there are not any fees to apply"). For-profit/proprietary and fully online colleges are excluded as destination schools.
