Conditions worth reading twice
Open to any current high school student worldwide (no country/citizenship restriction). Essays must be original, in English, academic/formal in tone, max 2,000 words excluding footnotes/bibliography, cited in MLA 8th edition, one submission per participant, and require an academic referee (teacher/counselor) email as part of the submission. No GPA minimum is stated on the page. Current Lumiere program participants may enter but cannot submit their own Lumiere program paper as the essay.
